The children in Kibera live together with many siblings in one room shacks without amenities, adequate food, a space to do homework or light to study by at night. However, when they go away to boarding school, they have their own bed to sleep in, a desk, light to study by and nutritious food three times a day! They really have a chance to become a student. Your $40 a month that keeps a child in secondary school, sets that child’s feet on the journey to freedom out of poverty!
